Ice Cream Sandwich Dessert

My mother got some of her best recipes from her University of Alabama college roommates - and this is one of them!

This family-favorite is just three ingredients and it’s one of my her most requested desserts to make!

Whip it up this Memorial Day weekend or bring to your next potluck or barbecue!

24 ice cream sandwiches
2 containers of cool whip
1 cup of Kahlúa

In a 9x13 pan or glass baking dish, spray Pam to evenly coat on all sides .

Lay ice cream sandwiches down to cover the bottom of the pan. Cut to fit if need be.

In a bowl fold together the cool whip and Kahlúa.

Spread a layer over the ice cream sandwiches.

Place another layer of ice cream sandwiches on top of the cool whip mixture making sure to cover all of it by cutting pieces to fit.

Now top this with the remaining cool whip.

Decorate the top with your favorite topping.

Let freeze for a few hours before cutting/serving.

Sprinkles
