Hot Browns are a traditional sandwich served in Kentucky, and this party sandwich version is a perfect way to serve them at your Derby Party 🐎👒

1 package of 12 sweet party rolls
2/3 cup of mayonnaise, divided
3/4 lb sliced turkey from the deli counter
2 cups grated Gruyere cheese
1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
Two Roma tomatoes, sliced
6 strips of cooked bacon, chopped

Kosher Salt & Fresh Ground Pepper

1 Tablespoon chopped parsley
1 medium garlic clove, grated
½ teaspoon Cholula Hot Sauce
4 tablespoons melted butter
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon light brown sugar

Place sliced tomatoes on a paper towel and sprinkle with salt.

Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spray an 11x 7 inch baking dish with cooking spray. Split rolls horizontally (without separating into individual rolls)- place bottom halves of rolls in prepared baking dish.

Spread 1/3 cup of mayonnaise on the bottom half of the rolls. Top with Parmesan cheese, then fold the turkey slices on top of Parmesan, then tomato slices in an even layer on turkey. Sprinkle evenly with bacon pieces. Sprinkle grated Gruyere on top and sprinkle fresh ground pepper generously on top. Spread the remaining 1/3 cup mayonnaise on the top half of the rolls and place them on top and press down.

Stir together melted butter, Worcestershire, brown sugar, garlic, parsley, and hot sauce in a bowl. Slowly pour or brush mixture over rolls in baking dish, allowing it to soak into rolls. Cover dish with aluminum foil, and bake in preheated oven until cheese is melted, about 15 minutes. Uncover, and continue baking until tops are golden brown and crisp, 8 to 10 minutes. Remove from oven; let stand 5 minutes before serving.
