Chicken Parmesan

All I want to know is who doesn’t love chicken Parm… Serve with a salad, with a side of pasta and sauce, or even layered into Italian bread for a sandwich. We don’t like a ton of sauce- it makes the chicken soggy, but a few Tablespoons spooned on top is perfect. We hope you will serve this at your next Sunday Supper 💫

Serves 4- 6 people (can easily be doubled, tripled, etc.)

A batch of our Chicken Milanese - normally about 6 thin breasts
2/3 cup Marinara
12 oz fresh mozzarella, sliced into 1/2 inch slices (about 6 slices)
1/3 cup grated Parmesan
6 basil leaves

Preheat oven to 350 degrees

Place chicken pieces in a baking dish. Top each piece of chicken with about 2 Tablespoons of marinara sauce. Top each piece with a slice of mozzarella cheese and about a Tablespoon of grated Parmesan cheese.

Bake for 20 minutes, then turn on the broiler and let it bubble and brown for about 3 minutes. Remove from oven, place a basil leaf on top of each piece of chicken and serve.
